Review of Magic Table in Bangkok, Thailand

Magic Table is a kind of a hybrid between a blowjob bar and a go go bar in Bangkok. It’s located on Sukhumvit Soi 7/1 near Dr BJ’s Salon and the Eden Club. From what I hear it’s gone through several hands over the years but that’s neither here nor there since the service has stayed relatively the same.

Magic Table opens in the evenings like other go go bars. Sometimes there are people hanging around in front and other times the front is deserted. It doesn’t matter since the fun happens inside.

Through the doors you find some stages and poles off to the left, a bar to the right and some private rooms straight ahead. When you walk in you can head left, step down and sit at a chair at one of the stages. This area is usually empty except for for a few women waiting for customers to show up.

Most of the women at Magic Table tend to be a little older and less attractive than those who work at go go bars in Nana Plaza or Soi Cowboy. There are almost always some cuties there though if you look around. In any case they aren’t any worse looking than the staff at any blowjob bar in Bangkok.

Go go bars can lose their allure quickly after you’ve been to a few. Watching women shifting back and forth on stage as they dream about greener pastures with loud music blaring is only so only so entertaining. Magic Table solves that problem by outfitting its dancers with tops and skirts but no bottoms. That means you can see everything going on downstairs when you look up.

The stages never get crowded as far as I can tell. When a customer sits at a stage with a woman dancing on it he pretty much has her to himself. After you order a drink you simply sit there and enjoy the scenery or you can buy the lady a drink which is always appreciated since it means she gets a little commission.

Most Thai women who work at go go bars are shy even though their job involves them dancing in front of strangers in various stages of undress and even fucking some of them for money. There are exceptions. Some of the veterans and especially the women who do the classic shows with ice cubes, ping pong balls and other dancers like in the good old days aren’t shy at all but they’re clearly in the minority nowadays. Shyness seems to be left at the door at Magic Table. Buying a drink always gets me a great view that prepares me for what comes next.

Remember the private rooms I mentioned before? By now you’ve probably guessed what they are for. If you haven’t I’ll fill you in: that’s where the go go bar experience meets the hands free bar experience. I’ve found that for a few hundred Baht the women dancing for me would happily come down off the pole to join me in a private room where they could go down on the pole. Some are better than others but it would take someone really special not to be satisfied by service like this.

Magic Table is a bit dark and dingy but it’s my kind of place. I like it and I have been back for many repeat visits.
