Blowjob barber shops in South Korea aren’t exactly like blowjob shops in other parts of the world. But they do have some resemblance to other similar businesses throughout Asia. In fact, it seems like the idea of selling sexual services through barbershops probably started in China. That would explain why it’s so common there and in countries that border it.

While there are a lot of blowjob barber shops in Vietnam, South Korea probably has the most. The thing is that a lot of people just don’t know it. That even includes some Korean people who apparently do sometimes wander into these places looking for a real haircut.

That’s partly understandable. The whole point of selling sex through a barber shop is to give a place a facade of legality. So ideally they want it to look like a real barber shop. But there are pretty easy ways to figure out whether or not a place in South Korea is selling blowjobs or blow dry jobs.

Blow job shops can be found all over South Korea. Sure there are ton in Seoul and Busan. But you can even find them in most of the minor cities and towns. There are more of these kinds of shops than I could ever count even if I did this full time for years.

You usually know when you walk into a blowjob barber shop. There will just be a lady or two sitting around. Sometimes they are middle aged or fat. And once in a while you’ll even find a beauty. But usually the women are just average.

Some of the places do have actual barbers in them. When you go to those places you can just ask for a woman in Korean by saying “agashi juseyo.” If they have ladies they will call them and leave you alone in peace. It really is that simple.

Blowjobs are the main service in these barber shops. But other stuff is possible. Some chicks might only want to give a handjob. Other chicks will enthusiastically jump up on your pole without even asking. So it all depends. Prices are pretty reasonable though. Local guys pay about 50,000 Won for sex. Foreign guys are so rare that they pay the same. That’s about $42 American for those of you keeping track at home.

Look for the double barber pole

So how do you find the blowjob barber shops in South Korea? Open your eyes and look around. Most of the places that do more than cut hair have two barber poles posted right next to each other. These “double barber poles” are very common in South Korea. So once you know what to look for, you will realize that you are surrounded by sex shops.

To make things totally clear, a lot of mainstream regular barber shops post certain words or phrases on their windows. If you see 이발소, that means it is a real hair salon. If you see 미용실, they are also doing actual work on hair and nothing else.

You don’t have to commit to a barber shop either. If you walk into a place and don’t like what you see, you are free to leave. It is the same as anywhere else. It’s not the kind of window shopping you find in the red light districts. It just is what it is.

A lot of the BJ barbers operate out of the basements of buildings. But others are up on top floors. In the mess of neon lights and signs you have to keep aware.
