The 5 best sex clubs in Jakarta
I’ve already told you about Jakarta’s sex clubs. Today I’m going to give you my list of the five best sex clubs in the country. This is based on my opinion as a foreigner who has never spent more than a month in the country straight and doesn’t speak a lick of Bahasa Indonesia. There may be some underground clubs around that beat these but I don’t know where they are or how they work. What I found was more than enough for me.
Terminal 2
Terminal 2 located on the second floor of the Classic Hotel is a nice big club that is spaced out so that it doesn’t look crowded even when it really is. The drinks are cheap, the waitresses are responsive, there’s live entertainment including a nude floor show, and there are couches all around the club where women wait for customers to pick them up.
Each set of coaches has its own female managers. They all wear matching uniforms so it’s easy to figure out. You can hang out and drink with the girl or take her to one of the nice short time rooms downstairs for 325,000 Rupiah which is about 30 dollars American. For another 200,000 Rupiah you can add a second girl from the same group. The women are all in their 20’s, fit and firm. Some of the chicks are smoking hot and they’re almost all doable. Some of the dancing girls can grind on you and fondle your junk if you buy a certain amount of lady drinks.
Alexis Hotel
Alexis Hotel is a lot more than the name might suggest. It’s a big building filled with all kinds of entertainment options for men. There’s the usual club but that only comes alive at night. I’m not a big clubber anymore even though I hit them up sometimes when I’m chasing tail. Since it’s basically a guarantee at Alexis I don’t need to subject myself to the club scene. The best place is the spa on the seventh floor. The elevators open into heaven with a room looking like something out of the massage parlor scene in Rush Hour 2. The room is filled with seats. Some are taken by customers but most are filled with women. They hang together according to nationality. The Indo girls sit in one area, Chinese women in another area, Thai women in another area and ex-Soviet State chicks in yet another corner. The prices are higher at Alexis than most other places but the hundred or two hundred bucks charged per session is worth it considering you get to play in a swimming pool with the lady before taking her to a luxurious private room. The Thai chicks ask too much for me though since they look like soapy massage retirees.
Malioboro
Malioboro located on Jalan Gadjah Madah is one of the biggest clubs in the whole city. Whoever built this place put a lot of care and attention into their work. It looks like a huge hotel but there’s a lot more fun going on inside. On the ground floor there’s a dance club filled with working girls from around the world and a full spa. Up the stairs there’s a strip club with some of the hottest dancers to be found anywhere in Asia. These Indonesian honeys do the rounds in pair and ask you to buy them sets of drink shots. If you give in they drop their bikini tops and let you suck their tits and rub their asses while they grind all over your boner. There are couches in the back filled with women from around the world that you can take to a private room. The prices depend on where the woman is from. Locals charge 350,000 Rupiah but Russians are 2,000,000.
Travel Hotel
Travel Hotel across from the Hotel 88 on Mangga Besar VIII is really well known. A lot of people recommended this place to me before I had the lay of the land. It’s not the best but I can see why it’s so well liked. It’s nicely run and the staff is on point. The managers have a good grasp on things and can make your stay pleasurable. You can take one of the many ladies to a nice private room for 350,000 Rupiah.
King Cross
King Cross is my favorite club in Jakarta. It’s also the cheapest other than Terminal 2 even though it has all the amenities. There’s a cover charge but it’s almost nothing. King Kross is another big building. There’s a kind of strip club on the ground floor that looks like the one in Malioboro. Customers sit at tables. Some sexy women dance in the middle of the floor. On either side of the floor there are couches with lots of local women. You can take them upstairs into one of the nice private rooms for only 335,000 Rupiah. The dancers are a lot more but the prices are still reasonable. As you move up more services are available. One floor has full service massages for a half million Rupiah. Another has a dance club filled with working girls that charge even more.

Hotels aren’t too bad in Jakarta. I usually pay around 666,000 Rupiah per night. There are many in North Jakarta. The five clubs listed here are my favorite. I’ve seen Russians and Uzibekis in The Alexis and Malioboro.

Those are the regular prices for full service and they’re actually up from what they used to be only a few years ago. Alexis is more pricey but still cheaper than a lot of other places around the world considering the service and surroundings. Most of the women working the sex clubs seem to be in teams under different managers. Most can’t speak any English. There’s no rule against guys approaching women sitting down. They’re there to make money not to sit down all night. Some guys talk to them directly. Others will ask the wait staff who manages them and go from there. The managers are more likely than the women to speak English but Google translate is widely used in the world now for good reason.

That’s not the first time I’ve heard that so you’re probably right. 800 K is about 60 US dollars or 2100 Thai Baht so it’s still in the normal realm for Southeast Asia.

The last time I was there was Feb. 2014……so maybe some things have changed, but I was never quoted over 300,000 (Indo Rupiah) at any of the fishbowl brothels, then again the Indo Rupiah has crashed big time since then. Regardless, pussy in Jakarta is still cheap.
Personally, I prefer to stay in Kota (North Jakarta) where the hotels are cheaper and where a majority of the brothel type of places are located. I do, however, go to Blok M (South Jakarta) at night where the foreigner bars are……mainly just to shoot the shit and it is a party type of atmosphere.
Jakarta is one of the cheapest and best cities for sure. I also like North Jakarta. The traffic is terrible at times though so getting around can be a real pain.

Tipping is a western thing. It’s not so common in Asia. Some people do it but it’s not normally required. In the Jakarta sex clubs some guys will buy a girl a drink to chat with her before going to a room but most will just summon a mamasan, point to one of her girls and take her to a room. Sex is the normal service. Most will do blowjobs but some will not. Every guy has their own idea of how hot a girl is, plus there are a lot of different girls working at each club. I visited the classic hotel in the day and obviously seminal 2 wasn’t open until 7. I was shown downstairs to the spa and through to where all the girls are. Thanks for your comment Danny. The women don’t approach guys at Classic or most of the other places except in some of the dance club areas. The street scene is way cheaper but also pretty sketchy. It’s aimed at broke locals.

Local women working under one of the managers charged 350,000 as recently as 2015 when this post was written. Later it doubled. Things may have changed again since then.

The clubs are spread out. A lot are in Kota where the Grand Mercure is one of the best hotels but others are far away. Luckily Jakarta has tons of taxis. You can stay at any hotel in the city and travel to all of the places.

I don’t know. Most of the hotels in Indonesia are fine with people bringing guests to their rooms so it would be up the girls and the club.

Traffic can be killer in Jakarta especially at rush hour. I usually plan an hour at least to get to or from the airport to town. Once in a while its less. Sometimes it’s two or three times longer. I don’t think it would ever take 7 hours each way though.

Ive been living in Jakarta for a while now. KC has two rates, Silver and Gold. Silver is 650k and Gold is 900k.

I got almost all the information I needed for my first trip to a good time in Jakarta from this site, so I figure it was only fair to share back for anyone who is planning their first trip out there:
Pro Tips:
– Don’t bother with cabs during rush hours in Jakarta, traffic is so insane, it’s best to use scooters. It’s honestly the difference between a 10 minute ride and an hour ride. No joke. Also, get a pre-paid data plan at the airport. From then on, you can use Uber or GrabTaxi apps on your phone. First of all, Uber’s are much cheaper than regular cabs. I paid USD$4 to go from my hotel in south Jakarta to the airport, which took about an hour without traffic.
– Be aware that the Indonesian government has publicly announced the shutdown of all redlight districts in Indonesia by 2019. So all these amazing places will come to an end before or by then. If you are reading this, and you haven’t been, I would strongly recommend you experience the amazing clubs Jakarta has to offer. I’ve been around all over south-east asia, and I’ve never experienced anything quite like Malioboro. It’s like Disneyland for pervs.
– Blok M is garbage. It’s dirty, run-down, and honestly, I don’t see the appeal unless you just want live music and are drinking with buddies. As far as hookers go, almost all of them are well into their late 30’s or 40’s, tons of makeup, fucked up teeth, you name it. At least thats what I saw there on a Tuesday night. I won’t be going back there anytime soon.
– Malioboro, the only club I got to explore during this trip is really everything you imagined it was. I went on a thursday night, and I had just the most amazing time there. for $10-15 worth of lady drinks per girl, they will pretty much strip down to their panties and shove titties in your face, let you touch them anywhere, grind on your lap, fondle your junk, etc. Some even offering blowjobs for an extra couple lady drinks. And most of them speak good enough english that should keep you occupied for the next 20/30 mins or so. With about 1 million rupiah (USD$75) I spent time with about 8 different girls, I honestly felt like a damn rock star. Oh also, the Malio club (4th floor) and Lounge(2nd floor) still very much do fully nude dancers, but they only started that from 11pm onwards. And yes, if you see something you like on stage, you can absolutely bang them. Malio club has more dancers ( 10-12 on stage) is a somewhat more busy, and louder music than the 2nd floor. Lounge is somewhat more chilled out. But mainly it’s an area for mamasans to show off their stables. Almost all speak english, and they will approach you. Nobody is hiding whats going on here. And I should also point out, 90% of the girls there are absolutely hot. No chunky middle aged girls like you would find in Blok M. Everyone at this club is smoking hot. Particularly the dancers. The only exception being the group of ukranian/white girls they keep around the Lounge who were honestly hideous compared to the local/asian girls.
– The biggest tip I could possibly give, is to break 1 million rupiah into 10k notes. Keep these in your front pocket for tips. 10k is 70 cents. Some westerners might find it annoying to get asked for tips all the time. But honestly, for 70cents, who gives a shit. Not to mention, I guarantee you, giving out tips liberally will absolutely change the way the staff and the girls take care of you. If you are local, this may not be needed, but after 10 years in south-east asia I’ve come to accept this is the price I have to pay as a white guy. Trust me, you can either sit and argue for 10 mins about not giving a tip to a gorgeous girl, or just cough up a dollar or two that makes them happy. In fact, I tipped one of the dancers $6, and basically explained to her that I want to end my evening by banging are hot girl with huge tits. She got a huge smile on her face, ran off, and came back with the most stunning girl I have ever seen. Great smile, slim, definitely big tits like promised (guessing 38D). Finished my beer with the both of them teasing, and took the busty girl to a room on another floor. Price: 2 million rupiah.
At this point I was done. I had spent just under 4 hours in there, and walking out my final bill was around 3.5 million rupiah. And I tell you it was the best money I’ve ever spent in a club. I’ve spent that much for 45 mins in a brothel in Australia, hell I’ve spent that much on just a bottle of alcohol at a club in Singapore. So in the grand scheme of things, this is definitely a bargain. I honestly am so disappointed with myself of not knowing about this scene in Jakarta, I would have been here a lot sooner hahaha. I’m penning this reply sitting in the departure terminal after nearly deciding to stay another night.
I would more or less affirm Eric’s trip except for the motorbike thing, I saw a pretty bad accident and I mean prices being what they are you can rent a car and a driver for literally chump change if you feel like it.
Malioboro. Just try it. I only had one day to sleaze it out and it was after a wedding in Kemayoran. I have to admit if you speak really basic Bahasa Malay/Indo it goes a long way to the girls just loosening up (their tops). I also didn’t tip at all and there was nothing to suggest anyone wanted a tip. In my scenario (from the relatively hazy recollections) I walked in at about 1130-12, got approached by a few bunches of girls but didn’t really see anything I liked until these 3 came by. Chatted and I bought them the standard shots (at 65k a pop). Then the gay papasan comes over and indulges himself in my beer jug and asks me if I wanted to change girls, everything ok, the usual. After 3rd shot or so the tops start coming off and you can basically finger them if you want to as long as it’s hidden from plain sight. I’m not a fan of having sex in any of these places as I much prefer taking them to my hotel so I cannot advise on pricing and how that works. I also told the papa San at the outset to cut the table bill at 5 mil and they continually let me know what the bill was. Safe to say, 4 hours of shots, beer, fingering 3 girls and licking a lot of tit set me back 2600000. Like Eric said, that doesn’t even cover the cost of a bottle in Singapore. Kompleks Kota Indah
Jl. Panggeran Jayakarta (masuk dari Gunung Sehari atau Mangga Dua)
Inside of this rundown shophouse complex you will find Sari Ayu, Ginza, and or MTR. They offer the same format as hotel Travel and Terminal in the Classic Hotel Bldg. The cost is the same (Rp 350,000/chick) but if you like the chick you can book her out until the next morning for a reasonable charge.
Another spot is Hotel BFashion next to the Taman Angrgrek Mall. This place has a karaoke, disco and spa. Chicks are available 24/7. Not a bad location and you can have chicks sent to your room from the Spa. English widely spoken at BFashion.
If you dont speak Indonesian then go with the choices that Enzo has given you. You are NOT missing anything with the local places, in fact, all the places that Enzo has listed ARE LOCAL places, tourists do not make up the majority. Stay away from CJs/BATS, those chicks are in their late thirties and early forties unless they are there to pimp out their daughter, who will be in here twenties.

There are CIS chicks in some of the sex clubs. The CIS freelancers work at B.A.T.S. bar in the Shangri-La Hotel and at CJ’s Bar in the Hotel Mulia Senayan. Most of them are in their thirties or older and they ask for a lot of money relative to the local industry. They all ask for 2 million at first. Most of them will take 1.5 million. Some will still take 1 million in the right scenario. It’s all negotiable.
Price Update for Terminal 2: So guys, the updated price for a chick is 365,000 for one girl or 555,000 for two girls. They have a minimum charge of 30,000 Mondays – Wednesdays; 40,000 Thursday – Saturday and Free on Sunday. I have to warn you all that this is a really sketchy place. When you ask the price of things or for a menu they will all say they dont know the price. They do this because they try to upcharge you by lying. When they ask you to sign the bill always write down the price what they quoted you and force them to show you the signed receipts when you check out.
