Blowjob bars are exactly what they sound like: bars where you go to get a blowjob. Bangkok Thailand is home to many of these great businesses.

I don’t know exactly how blowjob bars got started in Bangkok. Japan has similar places that were started to skirt laws that make it illegal to charge for penetration of a pussy hole but not to charge for a handjob or blowie. In Bangkok full service is sold openly at many places even though people say the law officially prohibits it. I’m not a historian. All I know is that these places exist and they are open to all comers.

Wood Bar on Sukhumvit Soi 7/1, formerly known as Dr BJ’s Salon, is maybe the best known blowjob bar in all of Bangkok. That’s because they get a lot of word of mouth advertising and run an updated website while most of these bars seem to operate in the shadows unaware of the promotion made possible by the internet or simply unwilling to utilize it for whatever reason. Maybe someone told them it was a good idea not to boost, but BJ’s seems to do it and do well. This place probably has the most women of any blowjob bar but they aren’t necessarily any better looking or more skilled. Blowjobs cost 700 to 1000 Baht depending on who does them and they take place in tiny cubicles next to other cubicles which means you can hear what you’re neighbors are up to.

Lolita’s just off of Sukhumvit Soi 8 is one of the original blowjob bars in Bangkok. The bar is small but there are lots of women working. They usually hang around outside waiting for customers. You can sometimes seem them going in and out of the nearby 7 Eleven in their tiny plaid skirts and button down blouses which is quite a site when you’re just in to buy a can of Coke. It helps that they tend to hire some of the best looking women of any blowjob bar. There are plenty of hot nineteen and twenty year olds though they aren’t usually the most skilled of the bunch. Blowjobs cost 800 Baht and are performed upstairs on individual cushioned seats surrounded by curtains. The neighbor’s fun can sometimes be overheard.

Som’s on Sukhumvit Soi 14 was started by an ex-employee of Lolita’s who was famous for her skills. Som’s is a little like Lolita’s but not totally.  A dozen or so women wait on a porch outside for customers. Some are in their early 20’s and beautiful. Some are old and fat. I’ll let you guess which are better are sucking dick. Inside there are some booths where you can enjoy a drink alone or with a lady. Blowjobs are available on request in private rooms upstairs that are large and furnished with leather couches and sinks for washing. The cost is 700 Baht.

Kasalong on Soi 6 is the newest blowjob bar in town. I hear it was started by a former manager from Lolita’s. The women even wear short plaid skirts and button down white blouses. The funny thing is that it’s only about 2 minutes away by foot. That must be awkward. For the customers competition means more choice. Kasalong takes up a whole building. It has a huge bar and a pool table along with some outside seating. There are usually less than a dozen women working and a few are old and chubby but there are also a handful of really pretty girls in their early 20’s that look like they’re university students. Who knows, they might very well be. Blowjobs cost 700 Baht and are delivered in basic private rooms upstairs.

Star of Light on Patpong 2 near Food Land was not started by a defector from Lolita’s but it has been around for many years. This is one of the few remaining old school blowjob joints in Bangkok and for that reason it’s either loved or hated. A handful of women wait outside for customers. They wear whatever they want. Most are average in looks at best but a few can deliver world class blowjobs. Some of the best blowjobs I’ve ever had in Thailand were given here. The bar is small and there are two tiny booths along the front wall. Blowjobs cost 700 Baht and they are done right there in the booths in front of everyone. The place is usually quiet but any customers or workers who come in or out can get an eyeful. Scaredy-cats can ask to be blown in the bathroom if they’re afraid someone might see their little willy.

Linda’s is right above Star of Light on Patpong 2. This little known place has been around for years and it shows. It’s one of the grimiest blowjob bars in Bangkok and for the few regular customers that visit that is probably one of the biggest draws.

Kangaroo Club on Patpong 1 is an old school blowjob bar that is trying to move toward a modern format. The bar is up a long flight of stairs. There are plenty of bar stools and that’s where the blowjobs used to go down, right in front of everyone. They still can if you request it but if you don’t the women take you into a little room in the back. The six or seven women that work there are average looking. Maybe they’re shy. You would think that they wouldn’t be with porn playing on a television in the corner 24 hours a day and a sign on the wall saying welcome to the best blowjob bar in Bangkok. Head is 700 Baht a go.

Rose’s is also up a flight of stairs on Patpong 1. Its just a short walk from Kangaroo club. If that place is old school then Rose’s is stone aged. It’s a dark old bar with three or four dark old women hanging around inside. You might think they would be experts but they are pretty regular. It can be a fun old style place but it’s no major draw. That’s probably why it’s so quite.

Lollipop on Sukhumvit Soi 10 rounds up my little list. This blowjob bar takes up a whole building, has an outdoor pool table and a large bar. The place is a little dirty inside and painted garishly. The few women who work here are some of the most unattractive I’ve seen at any blowjob bar in Bangkok. The worst thing is that few seem to have any real skills even though they will keep on trucking until they get the load dumped. The place has been open for years though and it stays busy enough to stay open so maybe I’m missing something. Blowjobs are 700 Baht and they take place upstairs on old dirty couches or sometimes off in a private room at the end.

A few go go bars in Bangkok double as blowjob bars since you can get sucked off somewhere in the place for a few hundred Baht. These places include The Strip in Patpong, Afterskool in Soi Cowboy (with it’s famous “naughty boy corner”) and Magic Table on Sukhumvit Soi 7/1. The first two are more expensive than traditional blowjob bars.

Some other blowjob bars have gone with the wind. They include Mike’s Place and Star of Love in Patpong. So sad to see them go but Kasalong gives promise for the future.
