Mia Khalifa is one of the least interesting people on earth. I couldn’t care less about her. Yet the run of the mill porn star keeps turning up in the news. I don’t want to know anything about her. Yet somehow I have become privy to her life and outlook simply by being alive and trying to stay alert on current events. It’s like one of those terrible pop songs. You end up knowing all the words without ever actually sitting down to listen to the song itself.

For anyone lucky enough not to know, allow me to fill you in. Mia Khalifa is a Lebanese-American porn star. She did some scenes that got millions of views. Years later she came out and claimed that her porn experience was terrible. Immediately after she did more porn. Now she’s treated as one of America’s leading intellectuals. Or villains. It depends who you ask. If you ask me, I say who cares about Mia Khalifa anyway?

Why is Mia Khalifa important?
